PR & Earned Media Manager

About the role

Creative Fabrica is looking for a PR & Earned Media Manager to shape and expand the company’s media presence. Based in Amsterdam, you will work closely with product marketing, creative teams and leadership to turn product launches and data‑driven insights into news‑worthy stories that reach journalists, newsletters, podcasts and creators.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the earned‑media strategy, aiming for increased coverage and reach of Creative Fabrica’s AI products.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, newsletter writers, podcasters and influential creators across AI, technology and the creative ecosystem.
• Proactively pitch compelling story angles and turn product launches into narratives that attract media interest.
• Identify timely news cycles and position the company as a thought‑leader with expert comments.
• Prepare spokespeople with pitches, talking points and media training, and coordinate interviews.
• Experiment with unconventional PR tactics, stunts and collaborations to generate high‑impact earned attention.
• Monitor competitor coverage, measure reach, backlinks and mentions, and refine a repeatable PR engine.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in PR, earned media, communications or journalism with demonstrable coverage.
• Deep understanding of how modern media operates and what makes a story newsworthy.
• Strong pitching and storytelling ability, turning complex AI products into clear, compelling narratives.
• Excellent written and spoken English, especially concise pitches and media communications.
• Proactive relationship‑building mindset, comfortable reaching out cold and preparing executives for media interactions.
• Curiosity about AI, technology and the creator ecosystem, combined with sound judgment on reputation and sensitive topics.
