SAP BTP Cloud Application Developer (Junior/Mid)

About the role

Aramco Europe is seeking a junior to mid‑level SAP UI5 / BTP Developer to join its IT team on a 1‑year contract (extendable). You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to design, build and support SAP solutions that underpin key business processes within a large enterprise SAP landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop frontend components using SAPUI5 (Freestyle) and Fiori Elements.
• Integrate SAP BTP applications with SAP and non‑SAP systems via OData, REST and SOAP.
• Assist in designing and building SAP customer portal applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.
• Ensure applications are secure, high‑performing and scalable.
• Optimize performance, conduct code reviews and testing.
• Manage project tasks and support production incident resolution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configurations and development guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, IT or a related STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience in SAPUI5 / Fiori development.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and CAP.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and integration technologies (OData, REST, SOAP).
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js or Java.
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
