Senior Consultant Accounting Compliance and Reporting

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant Accounting Compliance and Reporting (Accountant ACR) in Amsterdam, within its Accounting Compliance & Reporting department. The team prepares annual accounts and advises clients on financial matters, working together with audit colleagues and tax specialists. The practice serves large international companies, local SMEs, startups and scale-ups through the EYnovation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual accounts for local and international companies, small and medium-sized
• Provide administrative support and prepare dashboards showing interim figures online
• Handle various filings and advisory tasks, and contribute to assessment assignments
• As you develop, advise more clients across a broad financial scope
• Follow the AA course and gain assurance experience needed for your AA practicum

Required profile

• Degree-level accounting (HBO) or a completed Finance & Control degree, or currently studying it in a dual form
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a partnership practice or accounting firm
• Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English
• Willingness to take up the AA course after finishing the degree
• Accurate, stress-resistant, ambitious, professional and client-oriented
