Senior Technology Governance Associate

About the role

Join ClearBank’s IT & Operations team as a Senior Technology Governance Associate, reporting to the Head of Technology. You will monitor technology services, ensure compliance with outsourcing and regulatory obligations, and provide accurate reporting for audits, regulators and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor delivery of technology services, escalating deviations and maintaining documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Support data and information security governance to satisfy internal and external standards.
• Coordinate technology incident remediation and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain evidence of compliance with regulations such as DORA, MiCAR and cybersecurity obligations.
• Analyse oversight data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare governance reports, oversight logs and assist in closing management actions from reviews.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of technology in financial services and fintech.
• Deep understanding of information security, data governance and management.
• Familiarity with technology‑related regulations (DORA, MiCAR, cybersecurity obligations).
• Awareness of crypto‑asset technologies and their regulatory implications.
• Understanding of payment rails such as SEPA and Target 2.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
