Senior Test Automation Engineer

About the role

HelloPrint is rebuilding its e‑commerce platform and needs a senior engineer to make fast, AI‑driven releases safe. You will own the automated Platform Test Harness, ensuring core commerce flows stay reliable under continuous delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain deterministic end‑to‑end test suites with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Establish strict API schema validations and contract tests for REST/JSON services.
• Partner with product owners and engineers to define boundary contracts and embed a clear Definition of Done.
• Maintain and optimise GitHub Actions pipelines for fast, parallel test execution.
• Convert production incidents into automated regression tests to prevent recurrence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software testing or SDET experience with modern web applications and distributed APIs.
• Practical understanding of AI‑assisted code generation and its impact on testing.
• Hands‑on experience building flake‑free test suites in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, especially GitHub Actions, and containerised test execution.
