Shift Supervisor

About the role

Join Novartis in Baarle‑Nassau as a Shift Supervisor, leading the manufacturing of radiopharmaceutical products. You will oversee daily floor operations, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and support a team of operators and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a medium‑small manufacturing site with daily floor oversight, line responsibility, and routine walkthroughs.
• Plan resources and staffing to match production workload and schedules.
• Review production schedules, identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead the Process Support Unit, translating strategic goals into team objectives and action plans.
• Provide frontline support as a Senior Process Expert, ensuring timely, documented production.
• Maintain GMP, HSE/SSE, 5S, quality, and safety compliance while supporting business continuity.
• Define user requirements, create electronic batch records, and apply automation, programming, CSV qualification, and MES knowledge.
• Design and deliver technical training programs, support workforce qualification, and uphold audit readiness.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in QA, QC, or Production within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to lead mid‑sized teams and manage processes effectively.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and people skills with a team‑player mindset.
• Resilience under work‑related stress and consistent safe‑behavior modeling.
• Experience managing quality metrics and a mindset for continuous learning.
