Value Engineer

About the role

As a Value Engineer you will support AI‑driven business transformation by contributing to the customer’s end‑to‑end value journey using the Celonis Context Model. You will work alongside senior and lead Value Engineers, combining technical execution with consulting and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in discovering and diagnosing operational improvement opportunities and building initial business cases.
• Map Celonis into the customer’s technology stack and support change‑management initiatives.
• Execute transformation programs, track milestones with AI‑driven workflows and automate reporting.
• Act as an AI‑fluent operator, using AI tools for rapid data analysis and basic automations.
• Identify expansion opportunities and provide actionable feedback to product teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in consulting, value engineering or enterprise software.
• Foundational background in enterprise IT, SaaS or business software (e.g., SAP) and strong AI tool proficiency.
• Builder mentality with comfort working in ambiguous environments.
• Understanding of process‑improvement methodologies and desire to become a value‑realization expert.
• Experience managing project milestones and delivering presentations to stakeholders; fluent English, Dutch a plus.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or related field.
