Working Student – Indirect Taxes (Groningen)

About the role

Join PwC’s Indirect Taxes team in Groningen as a working student. You will spend several days a week for three months shadowing experienced consultants and applying your tax economics or tax law knowledge to real VAT and Customs projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior advisors in delivering VAT and Customs advisory services to medium‑size Dutch companies and public organisations.
• Observe and support the implementation of technical solutions that streamline client tax processes.
• Collaborate with tax colleagues across the Netherlands and internationally to gain a broad view of indirect tax practice.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop consulting skills.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program studying Tax Law or Tax Economics.
• Motivated to pursue a career as a tax consultant.
• Curious about PwC’s culture and eager to work with new people.
• Sees the role as a stepping stone to a future position in VAT or Customs.
