Business Controller – Cargo

About the role

dnata is seeking an experienced, commercially‑focused Business Controller for its Cargo operation at Schiphol Airport. You will partner closely with Cargo Operations leadership to translate operational activity and strategy into clear financial insight, supporting both tactical initiatives and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner for Cargo Operations, providing analysis, scenario modelling and actionable recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles, monitoring performance against targets and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Support cost control and resource allocation by analysing cost drivers, productivity and operational performance.
• Develop business cases and scenario analyses to underpin major decisions and operational initiatives.
• Produce accurate, timely management reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Challenge assumptions, offer constructive financial guidance and support programme management activities from a financial and ICT perspective.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business controlling, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Strong commercial focus with the ability to translate operational performance into financial impact.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in scenario modelling and financial reporting.
• Ability to work closely with senior operational leaders and influence business decisions.
