Business Controller – Passenger Services

About the role

dnata is seeking an experienced, commercially‑focused Business Controller to join the Passenger Services leadership team at Schiphol Airport. In this role you will translate operational activities, workforce dynamics and customer needs into actionable financial insights, driving performance and strategic decision‑making in a fast‑paced airport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner for Passenger Services operations, providing financial insights, scenario modelling and strategic recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, monitoring performance against targets and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Develop business cases and investment analyses to support growth, customer onboarding and operational initiatives.
• Create workforce and productivity models in collaboration with WFM.
• Produce accurate management reporting, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Analyse revenue streams, cost drivers, productivity and customer profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, reporting standards and internal controls, supporting audit activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Controller or similar finance role within a complex, service‑oriented environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge assumptions and influence decision‑making.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of translating operational data into financial impact.
• Ability to work closely with operational and commercial leaders and communicate insights clearly.
