Corporate Banking Analyst – Amsterdam

About the role

Santander is looking for a Corporate Banking Analyst to join its Amsterdam team. You will support relationship management with large corporate clients across the Benelux region and contribute to the origination and execution of a wide range of banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in managing relationships with large corporate clients headquartered in the Benelux.
• Assist in the origination and execution of syndicated loans, DCM, structured finance, trade & working‑capital solutions, export finance, cash management, and global markets products.
• Perform financial and strategic business analysis on sectors, competitors and clients.
• Prepare client presentations, business plans and monitor profitability and revenue targets.
• Take end‑to‑end responsibility for KYC and compliance requirements.
• Mentor and train graduates and interns within the team.

• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to risk management.
• Ability to work with sophisticated corporate and institutional clients.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to mentor junior colleagues.
