IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, customer‑focused IT Support Technician to join our team in Oud Gastel. You will provide first‑line technical assistance to employees, ensuring that hardware, software and network services run smoothly across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person, phone and email support for end‑users.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, passwords and access rights, including Active Directory.
• Support Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Assist with employee onboarding and off‑boarding (device setup, access provisioning).
• Maintain IT documentation and update support tickets in ServiceNow or Jira.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff and follow security best practices (updates, antivirus, backups).

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking.
• Familiarity with Windows OS; macOS or Linux a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certification such as CompTIA A+ is advantageous.
