Service Engineer (Radar Systems)

About the role

Deliver excellence worldwide by installing, maintaining, and ensuring customer success. As a Service & Support Engineer you will combine hands‑on technical expertise with a customer‑focused mindset to provide comprehensive installation, maintenance and support for radar systems at customer sites around the globe.

Key responsibilities

• System Installation & Configuration – install and configure radar systems, perform on‑site testing and initial calibration to meet technical specifications.
• Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting – conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, analyse root causes and repair or replace faulty components.
• Service Documentation & Reporting – produce detailed service reports, log diagnostics, repairs and parts used, and feed field insights back to engineering.
• Sub‑contractor Management & Compliance – oversee subcontractors, ensure adherence to contracts, warranties and quality standards, and maintain professional relationships with customers and partners.

Required profile

• BA or MBO degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field) and Dutch/EU nationality with C1+ Dutch language skills.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in electromechanics, system installation, maintenance or repair, with a valid B‑category driver’s licence (BE preferred).
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 55% business travel) and ability to work independently on location as well as within a team.
