Account Director – Creative (Dutch speaker)

About the role

As part of DEPT®'s Creative & Media team in Amsterdam, you will lead client relationships for our biggest accounts, blending storytelling with performance‑driven strategies. You will drive revenue growth for both DEPT® and the client through consultative advice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop go‑to‑market strategies, new service propositions and pitches.
• Convince clients to work with DEPT® by asking the right questions at the right time.
• Leverage sales experience to build solid relationships with potential clients and partners.
• Drive strategic and sustainable client development, influencing company growth.
• Plan, manage and monitor KPI‑driven digital client projects and journeys, focusing on budget profitability.
• Act as the communicative interface between existing clients and cross‑functional creative and strategy teams.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of agency experience as an Account Director.
• Passion for digital marketing and strong sales talent to advise clients effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade.
• Proven experience working on pitches.
• Ambitious, results‑oriented and strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Fluent in English and preferably also fluent in Dutch.
