Business Development Manager – Military Aviation

About the role

Drive sales growth and protect critical military aviation sites by delivering high‑impact radar solutions for bird‑strike prevention, wildlife management and counter‑drone protection. You will be the main point of contact for worldwide accounts (excluding North America) and work closely with sales, technical, service and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned global customers, building long‑lasting relationships and structured account plans.
• Generate new sales opportunities, advise on complex radar applications, negotiate terms and close new and renewal contracts to exceed annual targets.
• Represent Robin Radar at international trade shows, conferences and marketing events to expand the lead pipeline.
• Monitor sales metrics, customer profitability and forecasts, delivering accurate reporting for business alignment.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Bid Operations, Technical Sales and Quality to ensure swift resolution of customer enquiries.

Required profile

• BA or MSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• 8‑10 years of business development or account management experience in an international, multi‑cultural environment.
• Deep understanding of the military aviation sector and government procurement processes.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 40%.

Required skills

• Radar technology knowledge.
• Experience with aviation infrastructure or related radar applications.
