Crew Leader – Hospitality Operations

About the role

The Crew Leader will ensure a lively, guest‑focused atmosphere at Moxy Utrecht, delivering the brand’s signature playful service while overseeing daily operations across front‑desk and food‑and‑beverage areas.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests and create memorable, positive experiences.
• Manage room inventory, check‑ins and check‑outs following Moxy standards.
• Operate food & beverage outlets, handling orders, payments and guest interactions.
• Maintain accurate billing, process payments and reconcile daily reports.
• Prepare food, keep back‑of‑house areas clean, restock supplies and receive deliveries.
• Adhere to food safety, licensing and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Support fellow crew members and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Promote the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Required profile

• High energy with a proactive, do‑it‑yourself attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong people skills and a genuine enjoyment of guest interaction.
• Ability to multitask, balancing hard work with exceptional service.
• Clear distinction between being relaxed and being lazy.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel property‑management systems such as Opera or Micros.
• Understanding of food safety and licensing regulations.
