About the role
Trucking companies in the Netherlands are seeking diesel mechanics to join their teams. Candidates must hold a Matric/Grade 12 qualification, a Trade Test Feedback Report or Certificate, and have hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing trucks, buses and earth‑moving equipment. Applicants must be 27 years or younger and proficient in Afrikaans.
Key responsibilities
- Perform fault finding, routine maintenance and repairs on MAN, Volvo, Scania and IVECO trucks and buses.
- Service and repair earth‑moving machinery and related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all maintenance activities.
Required profile
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- Trade Test Feedback Report or Trade Test Certificate.
- Practical experience with diesel engines on trucks, buses and earth‑moving machinery.
- Age 27 years or younger.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans.
Required skills
- Diesel engine maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Repair of MAN, Volvo, Scania and IVECO trucks and buses.
- Experience with earth‑moving machinery repair.
