Director of Business Development

About the role

As the Director of Business Development at SkyNRG you will drive the company’s ambitious growth plans and scale commercial activities. You will lead a growing sales and partner‑engagement team, shape sales strategy and secure high‑value partnerships that accelerate the adoption of sustainable aviation fuel.

Key responsibilities

• Define, evaluate and execute SkyNRG’s sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and align with corporate objectives.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing sales and partner‑engagement team, setting priorities, KPIs and performance standards.
• Negotiate and close complex, high‑value commercial contracts for SAF/SAFc across a diverse portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (VP Commercial, CCO, Finance, Policy & Sustainability, Strategy) to ensure seamless integration of sales, sourcing, marketing and product development.
• Drive market expansion by shaping, launching and scaling new propositions in global markets.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in commercial or B2B sales, with at least 5 years in senior team‑management roles.
• Proven ability to navigate emerging, non‑commoditized markets influenced by sustainability goals and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong track record in lead generation, negotiation and execution of high‑value commercial contracts.
• Experience developing sales strategies, budgets and KPI frameworks, with an analytical mindset.
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, representing the company at industry events and panels.
