Sales Trader - Carbon Compliance - Greek market

About the role

Are you a proactive commercial talent ready to launch your career on the trading floor? AFS Energy is scaling up its Carbon Compliance desk and searching for an ambitious Sales Trader to forge new client partnerships across the EU ETS sector.

Key responsibilities

• Drive portfolio growth by identifying prospects, conducting direct outreach, networking at international trade events, and arranging face‑to‑face meetings.
• Guide new accounts onto the proprietary Viridian trading system, generate active order flow and execute compliant market transactions.
• Expand client lifetime value by pitching complementary solutions from the broader environmental product portfolio.
• Maintain accurate sales activity in CRM systems while monitoring EU ETS market dynamics, regulatory changes and competitive intelligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic level.
• 0–3 years of commercial experience in sales trading, brokering or business development, with a strong focus on outbound outreach.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Greek.
• High energy, resilient, self‑driven mindset with a passion for meeting commercial targets.
