Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead month‑end close activities across multiple entities, ensuring accurate, timely and audit‑ready financial reporting. You will work closely with the Reporting & Accounting Lead and act as a key liaison for auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the month‑end close for assigned entities, reviewing offshore team work and resolving issues.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, performing regular checks and matching procedures.
• Use the consolidation system Jedox to validate data, conduct variance analysis and explain movements.
• Prepare audit‑ready documentation, including draft financial statements, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Serve as the primary contact for auditors, responding to requests promptly and professionally.
• Utilise ERP, consolidation, BI and reconciliation tools to deliver reliable financial data.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and support system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a multi‑entity or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, month‑end close processes and intercompany accounting.
• Working knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and disciplined with strong documentation abilities.
