Senior C++ Software Engineer with DevOps ownership

About the role

TOPIC develops high‑tech software for medical systems, semiconductor equipment and other precision machines. We are looking for a senior C++ engineer who will also own DevOps initiatives, improving both the product and the development process.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and verify complex embedded software components.
• Integrate software with sophisticated hardware and other software subsystems.
• Apply object‑oriented design, UML modelling and unit testing to ensure reliability.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automate builds and test execution.
• Develop Python tools that eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
• Mentor team members and promote best engineering practices.

Required profile

• Several years of experience developing C++ for embedded or real‑time systems.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and modern CI/CD tooling.
• Ability to work independently, identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
