Senior Security Program Manager

About the role

Adyen is seeking a Senior Security Program Manager to join its Tech Regulatory team, the first line of defense ensuring platform security, reliability, and global regulatory compliance. You will lead security compliance programs and translate complex regulations into actionable operational designs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage PCI‑DSS and PCI 3DS certification programs and support broader security regulatory requirements.
• Define standards and frameworks that withstand internal and external scrutiny.
• Translate regulatory mandates into operational program designs for engineering teams.
• Plan, write, and implement documentation and enablement materials for diverse audiences.
• Align and provide input to roadmaps across enterprise risk, security, and technology functions.
• Oversee regulatory frameworks such as DORA and other global mandates (e.g., OCC, MAS TRM, RBI, BNM).

Required profile

• 5+ years experience implementing security compliance in fast‑growing financial services or payments companies.
• Background in security engineering or GRC roles with PCI‑DSS and PCI 3DS experience.
• Proven ownership of first‑line operational risk domains (incident, change, business continuity).
• Strong written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• PCI‑DSS certification knowledge.
• PCI 3DS compliance expertise.
• Familiarity with DORA, ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2 standards.
• Security engineering / GRC background.
• Ability to write scripts or queries for reporting and data analysis.
