Tax Manager

About the role

As Tax Manager you will shape, safeguard and develop Damen’s global tax position, working both strategically and hands‑on across policy, compliance and decision‑making for an international organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own and implement core direct tax areas, including global transfer pricing, Pillar Two implementation, Dutch tax accounting and compliance, and tax aspects of M&A and corporate restructurings.
• Build strong relationships with internal Finance, Legal and business stakeholders and act as a trusted partner to external advisors and tax authorities worldwide.
• Lead medium‑sized tax projects from design through implementation and co‑develop the tax strategy together with the Head of Tax.
• Provide day‑to‑day tax advice to support business decisions in a dynamic international environment.

Required profile

• University degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics.
• At least 5 years of experience in tax advisory and/or an in‑house tax role.
• Member of the Dutch Association of Tax Practitioners (NOB).
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Ambitious, proactive and motivated to grow into a Head of Tax role.
