Agentic Engineer (Medior)

About the role

Therapieland, a Visma group company developing digital mental healthcare solutions, is looking for a Medior Agentic Engineer in Amsterdam. You will build, ship and run software for the platform as part of a FLOW team, with AI doing a large share of the execution. You work across the stack and own quality end to end, while staying accountable for the correctness of the output.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape solutions from discovery, build them, ship them and stay involved until their effect is measured.
• Use internal agentic tooling daily and, with other engineers, maintain and improve its workflows, skills, context and MCP connections, creating new workflows where needed.
• Define acceptance criteria before building, challenge the context given to AI and build verification, harnesses and evals into team workflows.
• Monitor systems on shared tooling, fix issues and use what you learn to improve the design.
• Work across at least three of front-end, mobile, backend, data and APIs, and infrastructure, with depth in one area: quality engineering, cloud and infrastructure (Google Cloud), front-end and mobile, or backend and data.
• Propose designs, record decisions and bring options with pros and cons to architecture questions.

Required profile

• At least three years as a software engineer with production work in at least three layers of the stack.
• Higher professional education, preferably in a software-related field.
• Daily use of agentic tooling, with examples of errors caught in AI output and explanations of every change committed.
• Analytical, independent problem solving and objective evaluation of code and test results.
• Collaborative, giving direct feedback and asking for it, with clear communication and alternatives rather than just a no.
• Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• Security and privacy by design, and a flow mindset focused on outcomes in production.

Required skills

• Preferred: experience building agentic workflows, skills, harnesses or evals.
• Preferred: Google Cloud (Cloud Run) and Terraform.
• Preferred: native mobile or the Vuetify design system, test automation, and experience in healthcare or another regulated domain.
