Allround Maintenance Technician

About the role

As an Allround Maintenance Technician you will keep the food‑processing production line running smoothly every day. You will work in a fast‑paced, highly automated environment, providing both hands‑on repairs and analytical troubleshooting to maximise equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to avoid unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve breakdowns quickly, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Support production teams with technical advice and ensure all machinery complies with safety and quality standards.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to enhance overall process reliability.

Required profile

• Completed technical qualification such as Red Seal Millwright, Electrician or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a production or processing setting.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Willingness to work a shift‑based schedule.
