Allround Technician (2-Shift System)

About the role

Our client is a modern, fast‑paced production facility that relies on highly automated processes. As an All‑round Maintenance Technician you will ensure the mechanical, electrical and PLC‑controlled equipment runs safely and efficiently, supporting continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production lines, utilities and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults in mechanical, electrical and PLC‑driven systems.
• Carry out preventive inspections and plan corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to technical modifications, improvement projects and process optimisation.
• Support safe machine operation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Work in a rotating 2‑shift system and assist with planned weekend work when required.

Required profile

• Completed Red Seal qualification (Millwright, Electrician, Fitter or Instrumentation Technician).
• Several years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar technical role.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, participate in standby rotations and relocate to the Netherlands.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans; willingness to learn Dutch.
