Cloud Software Engineer – Managed Kubernetes

About the role

Leaseweb is looking for a Cloud Software Engineer to join the Container Services team and help build and evolve the Managed Kubernetes platform. You will design, develop and maintain components that automate the delivery and management of Kubernetes clusters for customers on Leaseweb Public Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Kubernetes controllers and operators using Golang.
• Implement automation for VM provisioning, networking, storage, firewall rules and load‑balancing.
• Research, evaluate and recommend tools or components to improve the product.
• Collaborate with product owners and agile team to refine backlog and prioritize features.
• Ensure platform high‑availability, scalability and reliability, including on‑call duties.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing Kubernetes operators or controllers in Golang.
• Strong interest in building solutions with the latest cloud‑native technologies.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a Scrum‑based team.
