Financial Manager (Mandarin Chinese Speaking)

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a Financial Manager who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese to join its finance team in Rijswijk, Netherlands. The role acts as a strategic finance business partner, supporting planning, budgeting, and forecasting for projects and accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and maintain project‑level budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review contract clauses, collaborate with sales and legal teams to mitigate financial, tax and cash‑flow risks.
• Coordinate consolidated budgets and forecasts, presenting variance analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain rigorous quality controls over financial transactions and reporting.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including reconciliations and accruals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, especially in project controlling, cost management and budgeting.
• Strong analytical ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business units and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP or financial reporting tools.
