Localization Program Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, technically‑minded Localization Program Manager to design, establish, and scale a global localization operation. You will own the operational framework, TMS architecture, vendor execution, and cross‑functional alignment needed to launch new international markets seamlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the localization operating model, intake processes, prioritization, SLAs, and performance KPIs.
• Own CrowdIn Enterprise setup, project architecture, permissions, API integrations, automated QA, pre‑translation and MT workflows.
• Manage linguistic assets such as translation memories, glossaries, style guides, and enforce i18n standards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, legal and external vendors, negotiate contracts, and provide hyper‑care during market launches.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Localization Program Management, Internationalization or Localization Operations, preferably in fintech or regulated industries.
• Hands‑on mastery of CrowdIn (Enterprise) and continuous localization pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development cycles, CI/CD, and common localization file formats.
• Proven track record of vendor SLA definition, budget management and cross‑functional leadership without direct authority.
• Experience negotiating agency or freelance contracts and managing localization budgets.

Required skills

• API integration (REST), scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash).
• Version‑control tools (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design‑to‑localization tools (Figma plugin).
• File formats: JSON, YAML, XLIFF, Android XML, PO.
