Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Attendi is building AI-driven tools to reduce administrative burden for healthcare professionals. As a Machine Learning Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end ML lifecycle, turning prototypes into reliable production services that power speech‑to‑text, note‑taking and chat‑based assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines, model training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring in Azure.
• Collaborate with product, backend and mobile engineers to integrate ML features such as transcription, note‑taking and conversational agents.
• Explore new ML ideas, prototype them and scale successful experiments into production services.
• Handle infrastructure tasks including containerising inference, debugging, and improving annotation workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of industry experience in machine‑learning engineering or applied ML.
• Hands‑on experience deploying, scaling and operating ML systems in production.
• Comfort with cloud‑native infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also valuable).
• Strong Python programming skills with emphasis on testing, monitoring and performance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a small, ownership‑driven team.
