Medior IoT Engineer

About the role

As a Medior IoT Engineer you will design and deliver the next generation of wireless sensor systems that connect industrial hardware to the cloud. You will work within the Predictive Maintenance team to improve sensor installation, measurement quality and edge‑based analysis for smarter, more sustainable manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for gateway devices and sensors, including RTOS‑based firmware.
• Architect end‑to‑end IoT solutions, handling scalability challenges such as global radio‑frequency regulations and fleet management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality data for data‑science models.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to brainstorming sessions on system design.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building software for connected devices, preferably industrial IoT.
• Strong knowledge of embedded Linux user‑space and real‑time operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with MCUs/SoCs (Nordic nRF52/nRF53, ESP32) and wireless protocols (Wi‑Fi, BLE).

• Embedded Linux development
• RTOS programming (Zephyr, FreeRTOS)
• Bootloader and OTA update mechanisms (MCUboot, ESP‑IDF)
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
• Power‑consumption optimization for battery‑powered devices
• Electronics debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and power profilers
• IoT communication protocols and system architecture
