Senior Android Systems Engineer - Partner Integration

About the role

Fairphone is seeking a Senior Android Systems Engineer to lead partner integration within its Android ecosystem. The role bridges Fairphone’s software team and original design manufacturers, ensuring third‑party solutions such as accessibility tools and digital safety features are seamlessly integrated and maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software bridges and integration layers for partner‑specific components within the Android stack.
• Coordinate with ODMs and external vendors to align integration timelines with business objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end integration projects, including planning, execution, and delivery of technical milestones.
• Maintain high‑quality, scalable code that supports long‑term sustainability of the device software.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
