Senior AxiomSL Regulatory Reporting SME

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AxiomSL Regulatory Reporting Subject Matter Expert to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of regulatory reporting solutions for a leading bank in Amsterdam.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the AxiomSL solution lead, providing technical and functional guidance across regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Analyse, design, configure and enhance AxiomSL solutions, translating regulatory and business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
• Oversee data sourcing, mapping, integration and reconciliation between upstream systems and AxiomSL, and resolve complex reporting issues.
• Support system upgrades, regulatory changes, testing, deployment and production stabilisation.
• Engage senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Operations and IT, facilitating workshops and delivering clear updates on progress and risks.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in banking technology or regulatory reporting, with 5+ years of hands‑on AxiomSL experience.
• Strong functional knowledge of European banking regulatory frameworks such as LCR, NSFR, COREP and AnaCredit.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership and drive delivery in complex banking environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, fluent in English.

Required skills

• AxiomSL platform (data models, taxonomies, transformation rules, calculations, validations, reporting workflows).
• Regulatory reporting frameworks: Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), COREP, AnaCredit, IRRBB, IFRS 9.
• Data sourcing, mapping, integration, reconciliation and data‑quality controls.
• Experience with AxiomSL RegCloud or custom‑built implementations (nice to have).
