Floor Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Floor Manager to join our boutique 14‑room hotel and restaurant in Amsterdam‑Noord. You will be the operational hub, ensuring seamless coordination between the breakfast, housekeeping and restaurant teams while delivering the high‑standard hospitality experience our guests expect.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of the breakfast and housekeeping teams, ensuring rooms and dining areas are ready for guests.
• Support the Hotel Manager and Restaurant Manager in day‑to‑day operations and decision‑making.
• Lead and motivate staff on the floor, providing clear instructions and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Monitor guest check‑ins and check‑outs, greeting guests warmly and addressing any immediate needs.
• Identify and propose improvements to processes, workflow and guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel premises for smooth shift transitions.

Required profile

• Strong leadership attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Team‑oriented mindset, able to work closely with both hotel and restaurant staff.
• Friendly, approachable personality and a genuine interest in guests’ stories.
• Problem‑solving attitude, willing to tackle serious issues while keeping a positive atmosphere.
