Mechanical & Electrical Technicians (Millwright) – Netherlands

About the role

We are looking for practical Millwrights and electro‑mechanical technicians to join food production facilities in the Netherlands. You will work on mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring reliable operation of complex production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production line equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes and packaging machinery.
• Perform fault finding, preventative and breakdown maintenance, and installations.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Apply hygiene standards, GMP and food safety requirements in all tasks.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production and project teams to improve equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Fluent English (Afrikaans a plus).
• Relevant qualification such as Millwright, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter or Trade Test certification.
• Experience in food production, beverage, packaging or FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Hands‑on, safety‑focused attitude and willingness to relocate to the Netherlands long‑term.
