Millwright – Junior Maintenance Technician (Netherlands)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated junior Millwright to join a dynamic production environment in the Netherlands. The role combines mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks across food, manufacturing and agricultural lines, offering a solid foundation for career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production line machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays and frequency drives.
• Read and fault‑find on PLC systems, with Siemens experience preferred.
• Support welding and general technical repairs as needed.
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Work within a structured shift system.

Required profile

• Red Seal (Trade Tested) Millwright/Electrician/Fitter or N5/N6 qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in food, manufacturing, agricultural or similar production settings.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (company language is Dutch).
• Valid driver’s licence and passport.
• Willingness to work shifts and relocate to the Netherlands.

What we offer

• 2‑year fixed‑term contract (40 hours per week).
• Gross salary of approximately €4,300 per month.
• 25 paid holidays plus up to 7 public holidays and potential ADV days.
• Holiday allowance of 8.33 % of gross annual salary (paid in May).
