Mid-level Backend Engineer, IAM

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-level Backend Engineer to join the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team at DataSnipper. In this role you will work on core platform services that power authentication, authorization, and access across our product.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain core IAM services (authentication, authorization, access management).
• Develop scalable and secure backend systems.
• Collaborate with other backend teams to ensure seamless integrations.
• Contribute to improving system reliability and performance.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation (second line after tech support).

Required profile

• 3–6 years of backend development experience with OOP languages such as C#, Java, Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Solid understanding of API development and building scalable systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Bias to action, sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing methodologies.
