(Senior) Consultant, Service Operations

About the role

EY is hiring a (Senior) Consultant for Service Operations in Amsterdam. The role helps service organisations such as public agencies, banks and consumer companies optimise their operational processes while keeping quality and customer satisfaction high. It sits within the Operations practice, which supports clients on complex improvement projects using sector knowledge and methods such as Lean, Six Sigma and Agile.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategic objectives into concrete actions and advise on the design of operational processes so that their impact is sustainable.
• Use data analysis and tools to measure and improve operational performance.
• Act as a bridge between departments such as planning, production, control and finance, and inspire and guide teams through change.

Required profile

• MSc in Technical Business Studies, Operations Management, Business Economics, Business Information Management or a comparable degree.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role, preferably in a senior position.
• Analytical, strong communicator, results-oriented with a focus on project goals and customer satisfaction.
• Nice to have: experience with Lean, Six Sigma or Agile.

Required skills

• Process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Agile.
• Fluent spoken and written Dutch and English.
