Senior Technical Product Manager — Agent Runtime

About the role

DataSnipper is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to own the agent runtime platform that powers its AI‑driven Excel Agent. You will be responsible for the architecture, performance, reliability and cost‑effectiveness of the runtime, translating customer and business needs into technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the agent runtime architecture, including orchestration, context management, retrieval strategy, tool execution and model routing.
• Own non‑functional requirements such as latency, throughput, reliability, scalability, cost economics, security and observability.
• Design, create and run product evaluations that verify agent accuracy and reliability before release.
• Shape model strategy, including selection, swaps, provider decisions and cost/performance trade‑offs.
• Provide market intelligence and thought leadership on agentic systems, both internally and externally.
• Partner closely with engineering leaders as a technical peer and collaborate with go‑to‑market teams on scale and stability messaging.

• A tinkerer who builds prototypes, prompt chains and quick experiments to understand problems.
• Product thinker who can represent customer and business needs through strong technical architecture.
• Highly autonomous and entrepreneurial, able to set direction and drive outcomes with minimal guidance.

Required skills

• Product management experience on technical/platform products (APIs, infrastructure, ML systems, developer tools).
• Deep understanding of LLM‑based systems and agent architectures (prompting, tool use, multi‑step loops, context, memory, multi‑agent coordination).
• Background in distributed systems or infrastructure with focus on runtime behavior at scale.
• Expertise in non‑functional product surfaces: latency, reliability, scalability, cost, observability.
• Hands‑on experience designing and running evaluations for agent accuracy and reliability.
• Fluency in model operations, including selection, swaps, provider trade‑offs and token‑cost optimization.
• Ability to write technical specifications and prototype code to validate architectural trade‑offs.
