Sales Development Representative, SMB (Benelux)

About the role

Deel, the all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, is looking for a Sales Development Representative focused on SMB customers in the Benelux region. As SDR you will break into new accounts and build relationships with multiple contacts across all levels of the target customer segments, working closely with the wider sales team and helping qualify leads before they move to an Account Executive.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth through inbound and outbound prospecting and generate cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
• Conduct market research to find new potential customers and leads, then qualify them by learning about their onboarding approach
• Educate and develop leads through calls, emails, events, webinars and campaigns
• Support marketing activities, prospect touch-points and the handoff to an Account Executive
• Generate email sequences and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts
• Follow up with calls and emails until meetings are set

Required profile

• Experience in a sales development, business development or outbound commercial role
• Fully proficient in English and Dutch
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline-generation targets
• Comfortable working autonomously and in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment
• Experience in HR tech, fintech or high-growth startups is beneficial but not required

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication, including crafting outreach messages and campaign sequences
• CRM systems and sales engagement tools (a plus)
