Sales Engineer

About the role

Sentry’s European Sales Engineering team is expanding to meet growing demand. As a Sales Engineer you will act as the technical bridge between prospects and our product, ensuring customers extract maximum value from Sentry’s monitoring solutions. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position based in Amsterdam.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical demos, trials, and implementations, guiding customers from the first touchpoint to long‑term adoption.
• Create best‑practice content such as how‑to articles and videos on error and performance management.
• Conduct workshops to increase product maturity and drive broader adoption.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, product, marketing, engineering and support to represent the customer voice.
• Represent Sentry at conferences and engage with prospects at the booth.

Required profile

• 3+ years as a Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer or Software Developer with project leadership and customer‑facing experience.
• Hands‑on experience with multiple programming languages and SaaS solutions.
• Strong understanding of high‑transaction sales processes and a proven record of driving revenue through technical interactions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

What we offer

• Base salary €91,000‑€124,000 per year plus an 80/20 variable component.
• Eligibility for equity grants, paid time off and group health insurance.
