AI Strategy Lead - Investor Services

About the role

Enjins builds production-ready AI and data infrastructure for European startups and scale-ups, and has launched Enjins Investor Services, a vertical for Private Equity and Venture Capital. The AI Strategy Lead leads this practice from day one, reporting directly to the co-founder/CEO, and shapes its brand, client relationships and reputation across North-West Europe's investment firms. The workplace is hybrid in Utrecht.

Key responsibilities

• Build the Enjins Investor Services brand: positioning, go-to-market and reputation
• Run tech and AI due diligences together with the company's AI engineers
• Build, maintain and expand relationships with VC and PE firms and their portfolio companies
• Serve as the strategic technical sparring partner on AI for PE firms evaluating and managing investments
• Align the practice build-up with the sector focus on ClimateTech, Energy and Mobility
• Own the Investor Services product roadmap, from DD automation to investor-facing value propositions

Required profile

• Serious technical depth and AI understanding, combined with an entrepreneurial and commercial drive
• Preferred: 5-12 years of experience in one of the following profiles:
• CTO / AI Lead at a startup or scale-up, having built and led engineering teams and shipped AI products
• VC / PE investor with strong technical conviction
• AI and strategy consultant who has translated technical complexity into actionable recommendations

What we offer

• Base salary of EUR 70,000 to 105,000 depending on experience and fit
• VSOP participation plus a performance-based bonus
• Co-ownership of the practice from day one, becoming fully responsible for the vertical within 6-18 months
• Hybrid setup in Utrecht
