Senior Consultant – Financial Due Diligence (DaaS)

About the role

PwC is expanding its Diligence as a Service (DaaS) offering, an AI‑native solution that accelerates financial due diligence for buy‑and‑build clients. As a Senior Consultant you will lead end‑to‑end buy‑side diligence engagements on SME targets, leveraging automated data processing and AI‑driven analysis while applying PwC’s sector expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct focused financial due diligence for SME acquisitions, analysing quality of earnings, net debt, net working capital and sector‑specific KPIs.
• Utilise PwC’s technology platform to collect, process and interpret large data sets with AI‑enabled tools.
• Collaborate closely with clients, attend management presentations and build trusted advisory relationships.
• Own the full lifecycle of engagements, from planning and data acquisition to reporting and delivery.
• Develop specialised knowledge of target sectors and contribute to the continuous improvement of the DaaS proposition.

Required profile

• University degree (master’s level) in finance, economics, business or a technical discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in financial due diligence, M&A advisory or related fields.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, results‑driven and eager to learn about technology, AI and data analytics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a senior, lean team.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑driven analysis and automated data processing tools.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Familiarity with quality‑of‑earnings assessments, net debt calculations and working‑capital analysis.
